Batts appliance technician went to fix an AEG extractor in the apartment. While there, they found that 2 stove plates were faulty. I paid for the 2 stove plates as well, to be replaced by Batts. However an independent technician later found that the plates had been 'accidentally' disconnected by the Batts technician, and thus did not require replacing. I contacted Batts through Sunet (Operation manager) who spoke to the owner, Charles - he confirmed they would refund the amount I paid for the stove plates (less handling, admin fee). Numerous emails promising a refund and they have not refunded my money. Do not trust Batts, not recommended.
Poor customer service Hirsch’s and Magimix: bought a Magimix 4200XL online at Hirsch’s. Delivered on an open truck, box previously opened, reported to delivery staff. Magimix did not switch on / no blade rotation on first attempt of use. Took to Hirsch’s Milnerton within 7 days, who refused to replace Magimix. Sent for repairs and returned by Magimix supplier as reportedly working. Hirsch’s refusing to replace as now ‘used’. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE
