Bakkie was advertised for R137 000, we paid a R5000 'retainer fee' on Saturday 26 July 2025 to secure that the vehicle would not be sold to anyone else then during the week. No paperwork or signatures were put down. Both Chris and Frank told us it is fully refundable if we decide not to continue with the purchase or if we choose to continue with the transaction (it would basically not be deducted off the purchase price but refunded) We discovered that because they are a small dealership they do not have a bank code so outsource their financial approvals but for an additional fee of R20k which we were not told about. this and their admin/dealer fees pushed up the purchase price to R168 000.00. We decided to cancel this transaction and now they refuse to refund me my money stating they would only pay me R2000 and the remaining R3000 is for "admin fees" of which there are none. I have read previous reviews here and some say the exact same thing... stay away from these Nigerian "businessmen" they simply ***** from you and **** you out of your money! I am still struggling 10 days later to get my refund out of them...
Quick, painless and easily insured in 30 min
2nd review.....shocking service, they conned us into paying them before changing their story to say they informed me before i made payment....i was with Debt Rescue since 2018 and wanted them (as they advertised) to provide a clearance with credit bureaus so we could carry on paying off our debts privately ( we were told to cancel our existing debit order but not to tell Debt Rescue as that would make trouble for us!) Then they told me I have to inform Debt Rescue to "hand over our file" to NDCSA - it is purely taking over our records, they didn't do a damn thing they promised! I insisted several times for a refund which they denied, and ended up doing all the work myself anyway - getting paid up letters etc from the banks etc... They are a bunch of ***** sharks!!!!!
Terrible service, contradicting information when we began the process....they assured us we must cancel the debit order to Debt Rescue and continue paying any debts directly ourselves, (if any were still not paid up) but not to tell Debt Rescue about it otherwise it would "delay the process"!? Then they would issue a clearance certificate so our name would be cleared enabling us to get finance etc again... while we still pay off any possible debts directly. This turned out to be very untrue and kept on telling us to wait 48 hours, wait 48 hours for any feedback or progress we were requesting. Process began 19 March with an immediate payment of R5500 from us... Mistake #1. Monday 15 April we get a call from Debt Rescue informing us NDCSA had contacted them this morning to get them to hand over our account to them!! This is after the whole process of us requesting a refund because we ended up doing our own financial sleuth work anyway and discovered the banks actually owed us money. They decline refunding us because of the agreement to "undertake and administer any tasks before payment". I would highly not recommend this company to "rehabilitate" your debt review before it is actually paid up with the banks.
Efficient and friendly service, never an issue and very affordable.
