Most horrible experience ever! They have extremely bad customer service skills. They quote you R250 for a call out. 30 kind later of just looking at the drains they charge you a R350 camera fee, camera which was never used. And then tell you you pay for it for lying on the bakkie..even if not used. Don't disclose this beforehand. Very bad service

Worst service ever! They, for a second time this year, refused to assist a suicidal patient. And then had the audacity to give us attitude. I know Akeso has Doctors on call...yet Joy at Akeso will ask me "oh and who is the Doctor on call". How dare you!! How dare you refuse a suicidal patient. My mother.
Absolutely shocking service! Been a month without my vehicle now after an accident. They dont keep you updated on progress often. When they do they give you untruthful information. Worst Car Insurance ever!
First Help Towing has regretably been dishonest to me. On the day of my accident the tow truck driver told me that if they tow my car today I would get my car back withint 3 days not checking the facts or knowing the general Insurance policies waiting period etc. What they said was not true. They just wanted to tow my car. When I contacted them with this upset, they advised that they just tow the car and has nothing to do with anything else-no apology, no explanation. Worst service received!
First Help towing Alberton. What a disgrace!! They are dishonest and will lie to you with a straight face just to tow your car. The first responder on scene made me a promise that my car will be towed to the Assessor in Brakpan and within 3 days will have my car back all fixed. This was utter lies!! Instead my car was towed a couple meters with a chain and then needed a flat bed truck to take it to Roodepoort. Why?? All this was not consented by me nor was I ever informed of this. Did the chain damage my car further?! I called everywhere in a panick trying to locate my car. When found I was told that just the Assessment would take 15 days, also never was I advised of this until days later when I had to call them. And when I confronted the tow truck driver, he attempted to plead innocence saying "I am just the tow truck driver". YOU **** to me out of desparation for money. Disgraceful!!

Someone Insured with Discovery drove into my dad. His care needs repairs. Discovery told my dad to get 3 quotes. He had to pay for one upfront. Never got reimbursed. Almost 3 months later Discovery needed 3 new quotes. Then chose the cheapest one. Called the panelbeaters and got more discount. Paid my Dad the money but never included the VAT. My dad has to pay the VAT. Why? He should not have to pay a cent!! Very poor service from the get go. Our family wil never insure with Discovery.
