I have purchased two leggings from KoaKoa Active and have worn them less than 7 times in total. They claim that they have durable performance/active wear and they are not cheap at all, with a pair of leggings being priced around R800 each. I had a light fall and my black pair tore so easily. My other red pair is coming loose at every seem possible. I have informed them about this and the poor quality of the leggings but they are not able to provide me with a replacement or a refund and appear to be sarcastic throughout the entire interaction. I am utterly disgusted at this brand and the lack of integrity or care and feel that they are selling a product under the pretense that it is of a high quality when in actual fact it isn't. They have no way of dealing with customers and give local companies a bad rep
The manager (Christine) is absolutely repulsive. She is rude to staff, rude to promo girls and rude to customers. Her conduct is disgusting. I was told that if I bought a double Tullamore Dew, I would be eligible to win a bottle of Tullamore Dew if I predicted the closest score to the NZ / ARG game. At Peppa Jacks, I had previously won this game. I entered again - as the promo girl assured me I was eligible - and I won. She refused to hand over the prize. She shouted at the promo girl in front of me (very professional, right?), accused me of being a cheat and was overall very unappreciative of my business. She did not look me in the eye while approaching the matter. She simply spoke to the promo girl about me IN FRONT OF ME. She referred to me as “him” even tho she knew my name - “I refuse to give HIM this prize” - as if I’m nonhuman. She treated me like I was not a customer, but rather a beggar. Surely managers should be aware of how to conduct themselves professionally? Disgusting man.
