Tia ping

We went to the Tai Ping Restaurant in Newlands for supper on the 21st October 23. When we arrived the place was empty. We sat down and ordered something to drink. Firstly the waitor did not know much about the menu. We were about to leave but then decided to give it a try. By the time we left we were so unhappy. When our food arrived, mine was very salty and swimming in sauce. We then called the waitor and had told him it was to salty. He then took it away and brought a fresh one, but it was still not to my satisfaction as it was still swimming in sauce. I then asked to see the manager. I was told that he is somewhere outside. I then asked again. Eventually he arrived and I told him about my experience. He came up with all sorts of excuses. Telling us that the chef must be tired and that they had a function on that day. I received my food in a plate and was told I should have asked for a bowel because of the sauce as if I had any idea that this was going to happen. That was my first and last visit and I will never ever recommend anyone. Service was pathetic.
