Disappeared with my deposit

I paid Romano the deposit on the 7th November to do a job that Friday 10 November, he has since vanished. I tried him on fb(personal and business) , insta (personal and business) email, WhatsApp, phone, his wife's fb, nothing. No response, phone goes straight to voicemail.
