I hope this message finds you not well. I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the services provided by Booking.com for our guesthouse. Upon establishing our guesthouse, we were initially enticed by Booking.com's extensive global reach, despite receiving warnings from three other guesthouses about major potential issues. In our first month of collaboration, Booking.com abruptly altered their payment plan, catching us off guard. Subsequently, we received a notification stating that our service was suspended. Despite our efforts to rectify the situation through emails, we found the response time to be excessively delayed, often waiting up to two weeks for a reply. Frustrated with the lack of progress, we resorted to contacting your customer support via phone. It took considerable persistence to connect with an operator, who candidly admitted that Booking.com has been severely understaffed since the aftermath of COVID. This admission only exacerbated our frustration, as we were left to wonder how a company of such magnitude could operate in such a manner. The prolonged suspension of our services for three months, coupled with the additional charges incurred during this period, has left us disheartened. We strongly believe that in a modern business environment, customer service and responsiveness should be paramount, and it is disconcerting to witness Booking.com fall short in these aspects.
