I went to your Store in Watercrest Mall about 2 weeks ago to collect hiking shoes I had ordered online for my son. While I was there I wanted to get hiking shoes for myself because we went for a hike last weekend. A gentleman Thanda helped me find a pair I really liked. I asked him if he could keep the shoes for me until the afternoon as it was the last pair and he said he would. I came back at about 2pm and the shoes had been sold I was furious and disappointed. The manager Jasta found a pair in Pavilion and said he would order and get them brought to the store. I explained that I needed the shoes for the following weekend for a hike and he promised me they would be there during the week and I will have them by the weekend. It’s now been two weeks and no one has even bothered to either give me feedback or apologise for the ********** service I have received. It’s just not okay that this is the level of service that is acceptable for a premium brand like Cape Union. If your products are so expensive but your service is so cheap what’s the point. I don’t want anything from you I just want you to know about the shocking service your customers are receiving.
I ordered something on Amazon and the items was out of stock so I had the option to pay for it and Amazon would try and get stock and upfront they said if they couldn't get the item they would refund my money. Last week they confirmed they couldn't get stock so they will refund me the money which they did immediately and they gave me a voucher for R100 and the original item was just over R100. Fantastic customer service and my experience with them on this order and my other orders has been exceptional. Takealot has lost me as a customer and I will now only shop at Amazon
I had bought a pack of Salt and Vinegar chips over December and they were wet inside. I contacted Krunch and they apologised and personally delivered a hamper to say sorry. I love their chips and think they are a great SA brand that I will be supporting. Thank you Krunch for caring for your customers
My boyfriend bought me a trilogy ring set from American Swiss 2 years ago and after only about 6 months one of the stones fell out. He returned the ring and they fixed it and replaced the stone. A year later another 3 stones have fallen out. I took it to the store to ask if they could please fix and replace them at my cost I wasnt expecting it to be done for free. They took the ring in and over a week later i got a call to say my ring cant be fixed. If they fix it the stone will fall out again and they wanted to charge me over R1000 rand which is a similar cost to buying a new one. I questioned this with the cashier at American Swiss Sli at Watercrest Mall and she told me its because I wear the ring everyday. This ring is sold as an engagement set so does American Swiss really expect most marriages to only last 6 months to two years. When I had taken my ring in I also took in a bracelet that I bought my son for Christmas where the clasp had broken I was told they couldnt fix it and cant replace it because it was over a month old. I also took the watch i bought him for a new battery they told me it would take 7-8 weeks to replace the battery but i was then told by their staff member to not use American Swiss and gave me a name of a better store. When their own staff members dont recommend you use their service you know there is a problem. I now have a ring with missing stones and the treasured memory had receiving that ring is now lost. If you want costume jewelry that won't last use American Swiss but if you want anything that will signify a milestone in your life stay away. Their Jewelry doesn't last and they dont care either.
I wanted to get a photobook created for my anniversary and I had left things to the last minute. I found 24hr photobook and they promised 24hrs or later in the site they say 1-2 working days. I paid way more than if I had gone to place that didnt offer the 24hr promise but I decided the extra I was paying was for the fast service. Well its all a lie its almost 24hrs and i hadnt heard a thing from then except when payment was received. No email saying in production no updat eon the website so I was worried. I called reception and I have now been told it takes 2-4 days to get to you. If you make such promises and are so bold to add your promise to your name make sure you either keep to it or are super clear to customers that they more than likely won't get their book in 24hrs and not just small print here and there. When I explained my issue to teh reception person his response was "okay thanks have a lovely day." They dont care or even try and make an effort for a customer.
