If I could I would give them 0 stars. Please note that they discriminate against blind people here. The manager denied us access because we had a blind person with their quide dog with us and he was rude about it too. If I were you, I would think twice about spending money at a place with such values
An update on the delema of my claim... All the documents were sent through and they got back to me this afternoon. And guess what! My claim was rejected. According to oneplan, a broken toenail that needs to be removed in surgery is an illness and therefore not covered? Because it was painful, my dog licked it and it got infected My dog got an infection due to his injury. An injury that had to be repaired in surgery... how do they justify this? Be careful before joining
I honestly wish I could give them 0 stars. Where to start! I put my dog on the medical aid, the broker promised me all these amazing things on the phone and I was so excited. Big mistake! When it came time to claim, not a surprise, they didn't pay out because supposedly it wasn't covered when the broker said that it was. So obviously I cancelled it since I was paying a monthly premium and pay the vet out of my own pocket. Once I cancelled, another broker started hounding me for months after, making all kinds of promises again so I gave in since I was getting continuous emails and calls, so I signed up for the pet accident plan, I was told when your pet has an accident you can just submit the invoice for refund. So my pet got hurt this week, took him to the vet and submitted my invoice. They ignored me for 4 days! I emailed, went on the app and whatsapp, no response. So I got fed up and called them this morning and they said its not on the system after submitted it in 3 places. A few hours later an email comes through says I need to submit all kinds of paperwork for them to process the claim, but this is not what the broker told me! These "brokers" are sales people and they will say whatever they need to to get you to sign up, don't believe them. You will pay your monthly premium, excess and vet bills. Their "cover" hardly covers anything and to get the claim put through requires you to jump through so many hoops. Rather put the money you would've paid on the premium in savings and save yourself the headache.
