I cannot pay you , as I do not have the funds. I think I have stated the obvious. I will take this matter further. This is absolutely unacceptable. If you denied access and notified me about this, I would have had time to cancel with a month notice. Why on earth would I pay another month if I clearly made a point that I was unable to.I was only informed of this on the 10th of May. I dont care about your policies. Policies are only guidelines. Policies aren't the law. It should be seen as a guidline and make space for adjustments and exceptions like this one. This is not just a client downgrading because they forgot to. If you denied the downgrade as you did, you FORCED me to go to another medical aid... BUT You made very sure that you could get another payment from me by stalling the process so that I could not have time to give a full months notice. This situation is not something that I caused or had control over. If I had knowledge of my situation last year, I obviously would have downgraded. Please dont insult my intelligence. WHY ask me to fill in documents if you had no intention of downgrading me. My situation was never taken into account. That is quite clear. I will take this matter further as Medihelp has no remorse for people in financial abusive situations. You are now abusing the system. I have been with Medihelp for YEARS and I will make sure that my last payment was on the 1st of May as intended. I will make sure that if this is not corrected, that Medihelp gets all the exposure on social media that you deserve. I am disgusted in your poor behaviour You will hear from me again Christelle
Requested to downgrade in April already due to being unemployed, unforseen circumstances due to maintenance not being paid as well. We are forced to receive food parcels from school and Medihelp only got back to me mid May that my request to downgrade was denied. Now it is too late to give a month's notice and I have to make another payment for June which I don't have. They took none of my reasons into consideration. I have been with them for years and this is how they treat someone in a dire situation. I couldn't downgrade due to finances, so they feel it is within their right that I continue paying them money and taking food off the table. All my payments are up to date, its not like I owe them money. This is what this world has become. According to their scheme rules, I resigned from the fund free willing.... I am forced to resign... And a policy is not the law. Human needs should be taken into account. I don't have money to pay them, and they refuse to give me my certificate after being forced to resign from the fund.
