I've had a positive experience overall studying through UNISA. There are some challenges on their online platform with frequent server issues. If you have good time management, can self teach everything from textbooks, and don't require any assistance from staff / helplines, this university will suit you. Level of communication and assistance from educators varies greatly between modules, with some being non-existent and some being excellent - luck of the draw.
Over the years, I've always received good service from this vet. Their appointments run on-time, their staff are friendly and the environment seems very sterile and clean.
I've usually had a positive experience dealing with Absa over the last 10+ years. I prefer their banking app to some of their competitors, and I like that inter-account transfers are instant unlike some other banks. They have been helpful to resolve any issues and I've never waited too long in a branch. My only criticism is that they call me relentlessly to try upgrade my products, after telling them time and time again to remove my number from their sales/marketing list. Overall I'm happy with the service received.
I switched to Standard Bank a year ago due it being a condition to take out a home loan with them - and there have been a lot of hurdles along the way. From my account being frozen without notification, to it taking 2 weeks to resolve (without ANY access to my frozen funds); to their credit card 'tile' going offline every night from 9pm (blanked out on the banking app after 9pm); to having to visit a branch for simple tasks that other banks can assist with telephonically - if not for my bond, I would have closed this account. I've had both good and less than ideal service at branches, with Cavendish being the most helpful branch.
I recently sold a car to WeBuyCars, as well as purchased one from them. Both processes ran smoothly, and their website and online auction is quite user friendly.
I've used Durbanville Cupboards on many occasions, and it has been a great experience throughout. They are communicative and their workmanship is great - they have gone the extra mile to meet difficult deadlines, and troubleshoot with tricky design briefs.
I've always had a fantastic time at the Kalk Bay Theatre. The atmosphere is fun, cozy and playful and I've enjoyed the variety of genres of productions over the years.
I've always had a positive experience at Starke Ayres in Rosebank. Last week I received great service from one of the employees, who assisted me with choosing various plants and soils. He did all the heavy lifting and loading into my car. This garden centre has an abundance of stock to choose from, at really reasonable pricing.
I have made use of their complimentary "Home James" service multiple times over the last few years, and I've been impressed overall. It has been quick and easy to book and the driver has often arrived early which I appreciate. My motor claim a few years ago was handled well and they even refunded my excess that was recovered from the insurer of the driver who caused the accident.
I was so impressed by the service received on their helpline this evening, that I came here to write a review. I had an issue on my banking app, and they resolved it within a few minutes. The staff member was so professional and efficient. I'm still shocked that they were able to resolve it so quickly, and authorise it by management after 8pm - this is exceptionally better than what I have experienced at other banks.
