Extremely Disappointed – Unprofessional and Unhygienic I had initially signed up for a package at Moimooi Spa through one of their former employees, under the impression that it was a one-year subscription. I stopped using their services months ago due to their lack of professionalism and poor hygiene standards. The facilities were far from clean, and overall, the experience was disappointing. To my surprise, I received a call this morning claiming that I owe money for an ongoing subscription—something I never agreed to beyond the original term. What's more frustrating is the complete lack of reliable communication: their phone lines are often down, and they don't even provide an alternative email address for customer support. I would not recommend Moimooi Spa to anyone. Based on my experience, it seems they are more interested in trapping clients into unclear billing practices than offering quality service. A hygiene specialist should genuinely inspect this establishment.
I was initially drawn in by the appealing presentation and claims of quality, but after some investigation, it's clear that this company is not locally sourced as suggested. The products are actually shipped from China and are identical to items sold on platforms like Shein and Temu — but with an inflated markup of nearly 700%. It's disappointing to see such a significant price increase for products that can easily be found elsewhere for a fraction of the cost. In particular, the photo jewelry is especially misleading and of noticeably poor quality. I strongly recommend avoiding it altogether. Transparency and honesty in branding matter, and unfortunately, this experience didn't live up to those expectations.

During a phone call with a representative, I received email confirmation that I would not be held liable for any fees during the months of August, September, and October 2024. The reference number for this confirmation is PFQ-191950. However, despite this agreement, I have noticed that the below amounts were still debited from my account for the following dates: PF GYMFEE 100939901 N: R249.00 – 15.08.2024 PF GYMFEE 100939901 N: R249.00 – 14.09.2024 PF GYMFEE 100939901 N: R249.00 – 15.10.2024 PF GYMFEE 100939901 N: R799.00 – 15.11.2024 (Correct) PF GYMFEE 100939901 N: R799.00 – 14.12.2024 (Correct) PF GYMFEE 100939901 N: R799.00 – 14.12.2024 (Incorrect, as my contract included levies as part of my monthly contributions when we signed our contract at Castle Gate) PF GYMFEE 100939901 N: R799.00 – 15.12.2025 (Incorrect, as my debit orders are set for the 1st of every month) It is clear from the ongoing issues with billing that Planet Fitness has not honored its commitments, and I find it necessary to express my frustration with the lack of resolution thus far. The negative feedback from others on Hello Peter, especially regarding contracts and financial matters, speaks volumes about the recurring issues with your service. Given the circumstances, I am prepared to seek legal assistance in addressing the numerous financial discrepancies and potential financial losses incurred due to these billing errors. I believe that pursuing legal action could help resolve my situation and also assist others affected members in bringing an end to these contractual issues. When I reached out for assistance, I was informed that the employee responsible has left, which seems to be a common excuse among members facing similar issues. Additionally, I have observed that while we pay monthly fees to maintain the equipment, a significant portion of it remains out of order. I submitted the necessary documents on June 4th, and to my dismay, none of the information provided seems to have been processed correctly. This has left me struggling to resolve my queries for several months now. Moreover, I have noticed that the reviews of Planet Fitness, particularly customer complaints, outnumber positive feedback. This reinforces my concern about the quality of customer service being provided by Planet Fitness . I am also writing to address a concerning issue regarding my recent sign-up at Planet Fitness. It was brought under my attention, through two of your employees, that there was a promotion for Medihelp members offering gym fees at R299 for the first two months. However, the amount debited from my account didn’t reflect this promotion, and furthermore, the debited account is was also incorrect. This discrepancy not only reflects poorly on the professionalism of their establishment but also raises concerns about the accuracy of information provided to customers. During my appointment, I observed one of their staff members struggling to provide answers to basic questions, indicating a potential lack of training or information among their employees.
