I contacted Roto Rooter Cape Town after a basin was not draining yet again. I had the drains cleared 5 months ago. A big shout out to the Roto Rooter Cape Town team - from Stacy in the office, to Bright and Owen who came to clear my blocked pipes on a public holiday. In June I had my drains cleaned (not by Roto Rooter) after the combination of a blocked drains and a faulty tap on a basin flooded a bathroom. Yesterday the basin blocked again. The camera used by Roto Rooter showed the roots - and instead of cutting a hole through the roots they actually removed ALL of the roots. Using the camera they can check that everything has been removed and the drain is really clear. When i got the quote I thought it was pricy BUT I have been having my drains cleared every 6 - 8 months. After seeing the work they have done it was worth every cent. That was because previous drain cleaners never removed the roots - they just trimmed a hole through the roots. The roots were about to grow up my basin plug hole! I have never seen such thick roots come out of pipes. They had to work from inside and outside of the house to do the work. They have cleaned up and left no mess behind. Will certainly be recommending them to anyone who has a blocked drain.
For the past 2 days fibre connection has been so slow that streaming services are unwatchable. I was unable to get a reply from their live chat in the evening so called this morning. I have on live chat for 60 minutes and on a call for 40 minutes. This is not my first bad experience in the past year. What used to be a great service provider is now dismal. Definitely going to look for an alternative!!! I am still waiting to speak to someone
I Googled CMB for their number and saw a bad review for them, so I felt I needed to say that we have been using CMB for years and have always been happy with their service and workmanship, which is why we use them for our annual service every year.
I spent 40 minutes waiting on the chat line to speak to a technical consultant so eventually phoned. After 15 minutes of waiting called in to log the the technical problem - only to be told that the chat line is only available from 11.00 am. Why not put that on your website? You are wasting your customers' time - adding to the frustrations that they already have with your poor service. I feel sorry for your staff.
I used flight in Port Elizabeth based on a recommendation from a friend who lives there (I am in Cape Town). I could not figure out how to link flights from different airlines for my travels to Peru. Prices were in line with what I was seeing online. Jolene was patient and very helpful. (I had to change dates as my plans at the destination changed). She even gave me her personal cell number in case I needed to contact her during the weekend. If she was not in the office her colleagues were equally helpful. Was so impressed with the service from FlightCentre that for my travels in a couple of months time have booked my tickets with them again.
