I have just spent 20mins trying to phone ABSA Herm**** on number 028 313 7200. The line dropped without even being answered !! It's not even a sophisticated call centre that at least tells you your number in the queue and an estimated waiting time. Efficient companies use that type of call centre messaging. To be honest I expected this type of non-existent service - it's why I closed all my accounts at ABSA a very long time ago. They are just like Telkom - and I stopped using Telkom years ago !!
Wish all consumer-orientated companies operated like this !
I'm not surprised that the overwhelming majority of contributors are so negative about Eurostyle Windows. They installed all the windows and doors on my site 6 years ago which was a new build at the time. I've never established who was ultimately responsible for the window and doors installation - the Main Contractor or Eurostyle Windows. Suffice to say there were serious waterproofing problems on the doors and windows that delayed the project by several months. I had a problem with a window lock about 2 years ago which they never bothered to come to site even though I was quite prepared to pay a call out fee. On the 7th May 2024 I sent Deon Adams a whatsapp asking why there is oxidation on the aluminium frames. He rep**** that it had to be kalk or calcium from ground water. I answered that it also occurred on the upstairs doors and windows as well and that borehole water could therefore not be the culprit. Since then - till today - no answer from Deon on whatsapp since 7th May. I then started to phone the offices trying to contact Deon. These are the dates and times of my calls to Eurostyle Windows 8th May 2024: 10h10 15th May 2024: 11h47 22nd May 2024: 10h42 11th June 2024: 12h20 20th June 2024: 12h55 On each occasion Deon was not in the office. Every call was answered by Antoinette on reception who promised each time to relay my call to Deon. Either Antoinette is an inefficient receptionist (which I doubt) or Deon Adams is simply not bothering to call me back (I suspect he will now after this is published on Hellopeter.com) The windows and doors are long out of guarantee so that's not why I'm trying to contact Deon Adams. It's just that he's supposed to be the expert with his product and whatever problems may arise. Deon Adams and his company Eurostyle Windows are without any doubt a prime example of "Caveat Emptor "
