<div>SEEFF Properties Plattekloof. I am writing to formally express my concerns regarding an incident involving Seeff Properties that has caused me significant distress.a subcontractor dispatched by your company visited my home to address a repair issue with my bathroom. I am deeply troubled by the conduct of the subcontractor, which I believe constitutes a serious violation of my privacy.During the visit, the subcontractor took pictures of the contents of my bathroom without my consent. This act of photographing private areas of my home is both intrusive and unacceptable.I have not authorized any such action, and it breaches my reasonable expectation of privacy. The images taken without my knowledge or permission are a clear violation of my privacy rights. Moreover, I am dissatisfied with the cold and unresponsive attitude I have encountered from Seeff Properties Plattekloof in addressing this matter. My initial attempts to communicate my concerns and seek resolution have been met with indifference, which has only added to my frustration and sense of violation.</div>
I am writing to express my serious concerns regarding a recent incident involving Mend a Bath, a subcontractor associated with your agency. Specifically referring to the Technician called Eben. has taken unauthorized photographs of my personaI hygiene products within my bathroom. This action constitutes a clear violation of the Protection of PersonaI information Act (POPIA) and represents a significant invasion of my privacy. Mend a Bath should of obtain consent from me as the tenant before taking any photographs of my personal items. This is especially important because bathrooms are sensitive areas for females. PersonaI items, especially those related to hygiene, are considered highly sensitive. Helena Mc Kay from Seeff plattekloof rep**** to say that it wasnt a violation to communcation regarding the bath, However failed to comment on the photographs that were taken, she refuses to take my calls and says : The contractors were chosen by yourself, and their quote approved by the Landlord - Dont you vet your suppliers first. Is there no internal process for you to follow as a rental agency /property management -including Screening and Selection? All property management companies typically have internal processes for onboarding sub contractors to ensure compliance with legal and contractual obligations, INCLUDING tenants privacy. I merely gave a suggestion.
