This company does not pay their tutors, therefore students are let down at the last minute after a tutor has no other but to resign. I worked as tutor for them and they didn't pay me for 3 months, while parents paid for lessons in full. So please if you are a tutor or parent looking for a tutoring company, I strongly advise against Axiom.
They managed to remove my review but I worked as tutor for them in 2024 and they didn't pay me for 3 months, I even had to resort to reporting them to the CCMA and they **** to them too. Till this day they still have not paid me, if you use this company you are only doing your child a disservice. There are continuous tutor concellations because they treat their tutors unfairly.
They employ tutors as consultants to avoid owed payment or do not pay their tutors at all after a certain amount of time. This dynamic means that your child loses a reliable and consistent tutor due to the companies breach of contract, mainly noticed for remote tutoring. They also make tutors form lesson reports that parents are unaware of, meaning students do not get to improve in the areas the tutors noted they should. So if you're a parent looking for a company, I advise you try to find a independent tutor, a good way to do this is contacting a nearby college and asking if any of their students are tutoring part-time. Not only is this cheaper (as private companies like Axiom charge triple the amount of the tutors actual payment), you also provide work experience for college students.
