Extremely Disappointing Customer Service at Speedy Tyre and Exhaust I had a very frustrating experience at Speedy Tyre and Exhaust in Vereeniging. While the staff performing the labor work were friendly and helpful, the salesperson's attitude completely ruined the experience. In July 2024, I had new shocks fitted to my car. Fast forward to December 2024, I noticed one of the shocks was loose, so I took my car back to them for inspection. Upon arrival, I explained the issue, only to be met with an arrogant response from the salesperson. He rudely asked who had last worked on my car, despite me clearly stating that the shocks were fitted by them just a few months ago. He then made an excuse, claiming that I had driven over 4000 km since the installation, implying that this was the reason for the issue. When they lifted my car, they discovered that the shock mounting had been worn through. I asked why I wasn’t informed of any issues during the original installation, and his response was that there was a “small play” in the shock mounting, but he didn't mention it to me at the time. This lack of transparency and poor communication is unacceptable. To make matters worse, when I expressed my dissatisfaction with his arrogant attitude, he brushed it off with a dismissive “thank you.” He was clearly unfazed by my concerns and even mentioned that he was aware of the bad reviews about him. His response was shockingly unprofessional, as he seemed to take pride in the fact that his negative reviews were known to him. In my opinion, the customer should always be treated with respect, not as if they are a burden. I will not be returning to Speedy Tyre and Exhaust and would caution others to think twice before using their services, especially when dealing with the salesperson in question.
