Solar Installation Nightmare - Mirepresentation, Defective Work and Lack of Accountability

I contracted Clint in 2022 for an 8kW solar system with 10 panels. He installed a 5kW system with 10 panels on the south-facing roof. Despite repeated requests for a Certificate of Compliance and inquiries about suboptimal performance, the system's performance remained inadequate. After Clint's attempts to rectify the issues failed, an independent assessment revealed that Clint installed a 5kW inverter instead of the agreed-upon 8kW. Additionally, the assessment found that a string of panels had not been connected, and those that were connected were earthed using live wire. When confronted with these findings, Clint blocked all communication. Caution: While Clint may appear helpful, this experience highlights serious concerns regarding his honesty and integrity.
