I’m very disappointed with the family meal we purchased from Fangeros. The food quality was extremely poor and not what you’d expect when paying for a family meal. The food tasted stale, poorly prepared, and lacked freshness, making it completely unenjoyable. For a place that serves takeaway food, quality should be a priority. Sadly, this experience was a waste of money, and the meal was not eaten by my family. This was our first and will likely be our last time ordering from Fangeros unless there is a serious improvement in food quality. This points to poor stock handling or quality control. It’s frustrating to spend money on a product that’s already compromised and ends up being wasted. Shoprite needs to do better with checking stock quality before it reaches customers. I’ll be more cautious about buying cooldrinks there in the future.
I’m extremely disappointed with the quality of meat I purchased from Pick n Pay. The meat looked fine on the shelf, but once I got home and opened it, there was a strong, unpleasant smell and the quality was clearly poor. For the price paid, this is completely unacceptable. Pick n Pay markets itself as a trusted retailer, but this experience has really damaged that trust. Meat is a basic essential, and customers should not have to worry about freshness or safety. I ended up having to throw it away, which is a waste of money and food. I expect much better quality control from a store of this size. I’ll be very hesitant to buy meat from Pick n Pay again unless serious improvements are made.
