DO NOT buy from Techmarkit. I decided to buy a new phone after years of using my S10 as it was starting to give me issues and came across Techmarkit. I've never bought a pre-owned device before but thought I'd give it a try since the reviews on Google and Hellopeter were generally good. I also noticed that they were in Rosebank but as a recent first time mom, it would be a hassle to go in to look at what they had versus just ordering it online to be delivered. So I ended up ordering a Grade A+ Samsung Galaxy S23 512GB Cream device and was excited to get it. The day it did arrive, it came in the Techmarkit branded bubble wrap along with a charging cable but when I opened up the box with the phone, not only was there no protective layering around the phone but it was white. I thought it was weird and then discovered that there was some kind of dent on it already. This was very disappointing as their site said the device was supposed to be Grade A+ and that meant near perfect condition. I even bought a phone cover to put on it before I did anything else but it was smaller than the phone! That's when I thought they sent my device to the wrong person and I got their device. To double check that it wasn't what I ordered, I did all the inital startup on the phone and went to the settings and lo and behold, it was a Samsung Galaxy S23 FE 256GB White phone. It's at this point that my fiance factory reset the device and placed it back in the box and I contacted support. Initally, Irene was understanding and got back to me quickly regarding what went wrong telling me it was a system issue, where the wrong product description was given for the product and that she'd try to find me a replacement. At this point, I lost some trust since as a place that sells pre-owned devices, how do you ***** up a listing so badly that both the picture and the product description don't match what the device actually is. That is *****. After a few hours, she got back to me and told me about a Grade B Samsung Galaxy S23+ and there was a scratch on it. I told her no because I was specifically looking for a phone with no damage on it and she started the return process for me. It was also then that I told her about the dent on the device that was sent to me to which she seemed to be understanding of and just asked for a picture of it before wrapping it up for the courier to collect. So, we did that and off it went to the courier. The next day, she emailed me saying they received the package but that the device was A+ when they sent it so there shouldn't have been a dent on it and told me she'd ask them to check photos of its pre-sale condition. This email came as a shock to me because I had told her about it and she said once they'd received the package, they'd start the refund process but now it felt and is still feeling like they are doing everything in their power to say that I was the one who did that to their device. Never have I ever been so stressed in my life as it was not a small sum of money and now I was being told that the device, which was the completely wrong one, was supposedly in crisp condition. How is one supposed to believe that the grade was definitely A+ when everything else in the listing was incorrect? To this day, I am still trying to be civil and cooperate with them but I have been regretting my choice to trust them and wish I had just bought from elsewhere. If, for whatever reason, you end up buying from Techmarkit online after reading this, please do yourself a favour and record yourself unboxing everything as if you're a social media influencer so that they can't blame you for their incompetence. I still have not received a refund even though it's taken them over 36 hours and counting to "check the pre-sale condition photos" and 1 week since I ordered the product. Being treated as if I'm trying to rob their big company when all I wanted was a nice phone is truly disheartening and I don't wish this kind of stress on anyone.
