My Personal Sentiments-Match is Great!

As a 35-year-old navigating the world of online dating, I wasn’t sure what to expect when I signed up for Dating.com. At first, I was receiving matches from all over the place, and to be honest, I wasn't thrilled about the idea of connecting with people from distant locations. But looking back, it turned out to be a blessing in disguise. One of those matches, from quite far away, ended up being someone I really connected with on a deeper level. We had so much in common, and our conversations felt easy and genuine. It was a refreshing surprise. That said, while I’m grateful for this unexpected connection, I do hope that moving forward, my matches are a bit more local. At this point in life, proximity really does matter when it comes to building something meaningful. It’s not always easy with the distance, but I’d love to see more matches who are closer by, so that we can see where things go without the complication of long-distance early on. Still, I’m thankful for this experience and hopeful that future matches will bring the same level of connection...just a little closer to home.
