I bought a Trojan treadmill in 2017/18, for home use. It more than likely has less than 50 hrs on. We moved house in June last year, up until then it worked perfectly. Last month we decided to start using it again, only to find out that the elevation function was not working. So I email Trojan and request that they send out a technician to sort out the problem. A technician arrived ( R650 deposit) to access the problem, his view was that it was the motor for the elevation function. He said he would get a new motor which he did, but the problem was not rectified. So he then said it was the mother board, and he would try and get one. Two weeks later I am told that Trojan only keeps spares for models up to 5 years. I find this very unsatisfactory as the treadmill cost R10,000, and no one mentioned anything about spares only being available up to 5 years. I questioned whether there was no other mother board that could be used, and was told no. So now I sit with a nonfunctional treadmill which Trojan have just washed their hands and said sorry can't help you?????? Avoid Trojan South Africa if you can, their back up service is pathetic.
