I’m extremely disappointed with the “cheesecake” I received for R78. The portion was honestly shameful — barely 2 inches thick, and nowhere near worth the price charged. For an establishment that claims quality, sending out such a tiny portion feels disrespectful to customers. I expected a proper slice, not something that looks like it was cut as an afterthought. Definitely not ordering this again
I want to give a big thank you to Sibusiso from Home Connect for his incredible service. He went above and beyond to ensure my internet connection was sorted out in less than 4 days. What really stood out was his commitment—he followed up with the correct teams, stayed in touch over weekends and even public holidays, and made sure everything was in place before the upcoming long weekend. Sibusiso showed the kind of dedication and professionalism that’s rare to find. I honestly wish everyone on the team worked as hard and cared as much as he does. I have requested movement of connection from old address to new one on 14th April, on 16th April Vuma installed the ONT box, after that there’s no movement, no updates. On 24th April I was informed I must wait for 72 business hours for ISP to be released, which is 9 days, after that Home-connect will raise another ticket for force termination which is with 48 hours SLA, so another 6 days, after that they’ll take another 48 hours for activation for +6 days and then another 48 hours to activate the router so more 6 days. We are counting business days here…so in all Home-connect is asking for 30 business days to activate a fibre connection and they dont know from when this 30 days starts, is it from the day of application or day of installation or from when, they dont want to answer, all they are asking for is 30 working days. We are in 2025 and this is how fast home-connect can work.
