I placed an order for goods with DIYElectronics on the 21st of July. A day later, I was contacted to be informed that the item I had ordered and paid for was not in stock and that I would shorty be emailed a credit note or I could request a refund. When I received the email, the email read that should I want to request a refund, all I need do is reply to the email with my banking information, which I did. Fast forward to today (06 August) and I still have not received my refund. Even a confirmation email would have been helpful but I have been left in the dark. This is a very poor show indeed. Once I have received my refund, I will return to update my review.
Before going in to the Boksburg branch, I made a call to confirm availability of the product I wanted to purchase. I was assisted by a very friendly lady who confirmed the availability of the product. This friendly attitude followed through with the clerk in-store who assisted me. Overall, very good service.
