THE COUCH ******* CORNER

Purchased a couch in August 2023. The couch is just 1 year 9 months old and when we sit on it all you feel is wood/plank, like taking a towel and putting it on a pallet. What makes it even more frustrating is that we didn't receive our ottoman that was initially part of the package. its just my wife and I that use the couch and we work 5 days a week and on weekends we hardly at home. Tried calling numerous times and the WhatsApp number does not work now. When I eventually did get hold of the owner to pick up my ottoman which was a couple of weeks after the couch was delivered he said that i could pick up the ottoman. Then i tried calling him again to make arrangements to collect and he said that he moved it to his storage and will only be able to get it back during the week. My wife's parents had also given him 2x 3 seater couches to re-cover. On the 3rd attempt to collect the ottoman he claims that money is owed to him and he cannot give me the ottoman till that is settled. He only did 1 out the 2x 3seaters and didn't even collect the 2nd couch but claims he is still owed money. They now have 2 different looking couches in the lounge. I have tried to get other companies to quote me on refurbishing my couch but the quotes are more than the what was paid for it cause they need to do the entire frame work and foam, so basically a whole new couch. the material use is of inferior quality and the timber is like that of a pallet. Waste of money and time. If being a ***** was an Olympic Sport he would be a gold medalist.
