I’m extremely disappointed. My parents have been with OUTsurance for over 10 years, and after my recent experience, I honestly don’t know why. Two weeks ago, I was involved in an accident. I asked for the matter to be escalated to the legal department because I wanted to pursue a third-party claim. The other driver initially gave their statement, but later came back with a completely different version of events. When I questioned this, the consultant I spoke to gave me a completely new story — one that didn’t match what was said at the beginning. What I don’t understand is how the other party was even allowed to change or add to their story after the fact. If what they’re now claiming really happened, why wasn’t it mentioned from the beginning? That alone should raise questions — but instead, it feels like OUTsurance just accepted it without pushing back. What’s even worse is that they don’t seem to take any extra steps to investigate properly. If there’s no hard evidence like video footage, they simply don’t care. But if you look at the images of my car, it’s obvious that I was side-swiped — I had a strong, fightable case without it even needing to go to court. What’s the point of a legal department if I have to collect everything, bring it to them, and then they just make a decision without any effort on their part? Legal should be investigating and building a case, not just sitting back and calling it a day. This whole process has been ridiculous. After 10+ years of loyalty, I expected so much better. I’m beyond disappointed.
