I am absolutely disgusted with FNB and eBucks. You loudly advertise kids’ benefits, but when a parent actually tries to activate them, you make it a humiliating circus of admin, wasted hours, and endless hoops. After jumping through every one of your ridiculous requirements, you finally activated the benefit for ONE of my two children — only for me to try to use it and then discover you have now REVOKED all children’s benefits altogether! This is beyond pathetic. It is dishonest, misleading, and insulting to your customers. You are deliberately wasting our time, dangling **** benefits you clearly cannot deliver on. It is ridiculous that I have to spend hours, every few months, re-doing the same nonsense just to get what you claim to be offering. Shame on you, FNB. You parade yourselves as “innovative” and “family-friendly,” yet you treat your customers like fools. The amount of energy and frustration you force us through is nothing short of abusive. Either stop advertising benefits you cannot honor, or fix your broken system and stop robbing parents of their time and sanity. Right now, FNB eBucks is not a benefit — it’s a burden.
I bought an 8L Hisense air fryer. On the day it was due for delivery I received a mail saying the order is lost in transit, my return (which I knew nothing of) has been approved and my payment returned. Now the supplier is out of stock and Takealot increased the price of the unit.
I am on an unlimited MTN contract and for the last 4 months I have not been able to use any minutes or megabytes outside of wifi coverage. I have 0 signal NOTHING. Yet I am paying a full subscription for the last 4 months and when I cancelled they forced me to wait out a notice period. When I raised the reception issues with them they confirmed that the Tygerberg signal tower is not operational and they dont know how long the repair will take. Its been 4 months and nothing has happened. I feel like I have been ****med. I am paying a full sky package subscription yet I dont get anything in return and had to buy a second phone on Vodacom to be able to communicate with clients. PATHETIC from a Top tier Mobile Service provider!
Their website is advertising a Weber kettle braai at a highly discounted price. When I enquired I was told that the product is discontinued and they have no stock but I was advised that I can buy a similar product at full price. Despite asking the consultant (on Whatsapp) to remove the add the same advert is still live. I will be lodging a complaint for false advertising, it is not allowed to attract customers with fictitious adverts to try and sell them similar products at higher prices when they enquire.
My LG Microwave broke 4 months after the warranty lapsed. I am now sitting with a R1500 repair bill and LG is shrugging their shoulders. I have left a shockingly negative review urging customers rather to buy other brands on the websites of Hirsch's, Takealot, Tafelberg, Game, Makro, Builders and will continue recommending other buyers not to buy LG products. To pay R3k for microwave and it only lasts 27 months is RIDICULOUS! I have another no name microwave used for camping working 100% since 1998.
I bought a LG Microwave a little more than 2 years ago - on the product they proudly say 10 year warrantee. After 2 years the microwave is no longer working and LG's Call centres are closed. Buy Mellerware with a 4 year guarantee that actually supports you!
I was wrongfully charged a subscription renewal fee by Linkedin of R1379 on my credit card. There is no way of contacting Linkedin about a refund so I urgently need these charges to be reversed.
I canceled my contract with them last month. It is now one month later and they are still deducting random amounts of money from my account. I have made several attempts to speak to someone without success. Vodacom consists of a bunch of sharks.

I placed 2 considerable sized orders on 24 April fron Cape Union Mart. I also bought from Dischem Clicks and Woolworths on the same day. All the retailers delivered within a few days as expected. Except for the orders from Cape Union Mart. It is now almost a MONTH later and still no update on the orders. I followed up on 06 May with very specific questions and after 2 days I got a pacifying email ignoring my questions and telling me I need to be patient. Almost a month later and still my orders show in progress. Its beyond ridiculous and COMPLETELY ruined my respect I had for the company.
