I am writing to formally express my deep dissatisfaction with the dental care I recently received at your hospital. I underwent a tooth extraction at your facility, and to my surprise, I was not offered any form of pain medication or detailed aftercare instructions beyond being told to rinse with salt water the following day. Later that day, I began experiencing severe pain, and it was only because I had a few over-the-counter painkillers at home that I was able to get minimal relief. Unfortunately, the pain continued to worsen over the following days, and I have now developed a dry socket, which has left me in constant pain and reliant on painkillers just to make it through the day. The lack of proper pain management and post-operative care is unacceptable. Tooth extraction is a painful and invasive procedure, and patients should be given adequate instructions and support to manage their recovery. The quality of care I received was extremely poor, and it is disheartening to see such negligence in a government healthcare facility, where many turn to due to financial limitations. I urge the hospital administration to look into this matter seriously and ensure that no other patient has to go through this kind of experience in the future. Proper training, communication, and compassion are essential in healthcare — and were sorely lacking in my case.
