Lowest Class G****s
I’m extremely disappointed with my recent order from Pick n Pay ASAP - Promenade Mitchell's Plain I ordered a pack of g****s through the app and paid R43, expecting the usual standard quality you get when buying fresh produce. However, when my order arrived, I immediately noticed how unusually small and poor quality the g****s were. Only after inspecting the packaging closely did I see that the product is labelled “LOWEST CLASS.” At no point during the ordering process was this disclosed, nor was I given any option to choose the class or grade of g****s. This is completely misleading. Customers should not be charged standard prices for substandard produce without being clearly informed upfront. Transparency is the bare minimum, especially when it comes to food quality. This experience has left me feeling misled and disappointed in a brand I’ve trusted for years. I expect better from Pick n Pay.

Unprofessional Customer Service
I recently contacted Store Well to make an emergency vehicle booking, explaining that it was an urgent situation as my mother was unwell and we urgently required assistance. Unfortunately, I was assisted by a staff member named Charne, who handled the matter with complete unprofessionalism and lack of empathy. Her tone was dismissive, cold, and condescending — as though I was a nuisance rather than a customer in need. She spoke to me in a manner that was rude and belittling, as if I were a child she was irritated by and just wanted to get off the phone with. For someone dealing with a genuine emergency, this experience was extremely upsetting and unacceptable. Despite explaining that I was experiencing issues with online booking, she insisted I use the internet to make the booking and showed no willingness to assist me telephonically. I expected compassion and professionalism, especially in a sensitive moment, but was met with the exact opposite. I hope Store Well addresses this matter seriously and ensures that staff are trained in customer empathy and professionalism, particularly when clients are in distress.
