I recently contacted Store Well to make an emergency vehicle booking, explaining that it was an urgent situation as my mother was unwell and we urgently required assistance. Unfortunately, I was assisted by a staff member named Charne, who handled the matter with complete unprofessionalism and lack of empathy. Her tone was dismissive, cold, and condescending — as though I was a nuisance rather than a customer in need. She spoke to me in a manner that was rude and belittling, as if I were a child she was irritated by and just wanted to get off the phone with. For someone dealing with a genuine emergency, this experience was extremely upsetting and unacceptable. Despite explaining that I was experiencing issues with online booking, she insisted I use the internet to make the booking and showed no willingness to assist me telephonically. I expected compassion and professionalism, especially in a sensitive moment, but was met with the exact opposite. I hope Store Well addresses this matter seriously and ensures that staff are trained in customer empathy and professionalism, particularly when clients are in distress.
