Disappointing Experience with Unjustified Charges at Clearview Fencing

I had a very disappointing experience with Clearview Fencing in Centurion. After receiving and paying for an initial quote to install a residential fence in Midrand, the team later claimed they would need to hire a jackhammer to complete the project. They charged an additional R3,220 for this, which I paid. However, no jackhammer was ever brought to the site or used. When I queried this, I was told the tool was no longer required. I requested a refund, but for over a month I had to follow up repeatedly through calls, emails, and messages with almost no response. Eventually, I received a short WhatsApp message stating that there would be no refund because they “use specialized tools.” This is dishonest and unprofessional. Customers should be aware that they may be charged for equipment or services that are never actually provided. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Clearview Fencing and would strongly advise potential clients to proceed with caution!
