I am thankful for Wendy Reaching out to me. She really heard me out and displayed great customer service. Karcher agreed to send me replacement hoses to which i am thankful for. Thank again Wendy for your great Customer Service and displaying the true Karcher customer service.
I bought a Karcher K2 in October 2024, and while the machine itself worked well at first, the hose cracked less than a year later while I was simply washing my car. To my shock, I was told that accessories like the hose are not covered under warranty. This is unacceptable. I take good care of my equipment — the machine is only used to wash cars, it’s always stored properly, and never mishandled. Yet the plastic hose supp**** with the unit didn’t even last 12 months. Now I’m expected to spend over R1000 on a replacement rubber hose, which means I’ll be forced to buy a new one every year at this rate. That is simply not sustainable, and it shows extremely poor product quality. What’s worse is the lack of support. When I called the local dealers to raise the issue, all I was told was to buy a new hose — no assistance, no goodwill, nothing. My machine is now completely useless because of a flimsy hose, and I am left frustrated, out of pocket, and without a working product. Karcher markets itself as a premium brand, but my experience has been the opposite: poor durability, no warranty support, and very disappointing customer service. I honestly regret this purchase. Curt
