Mr. D. Petzer is handling a RAF claim on my husband's behalf. Our complaint is that we do not get feedback from him. He does not reply on e-mail's we send him. This case is going on for over 9 years now. We sent to see him during June of this year and he told us that the claim will be settled end Sept 2019. It is 3 Oct and there is no correspondence from his side. The case has not been settled. We are discouraged and do not know what to do. We have been patient for 9 years. Patience is running out.
During November 2017 we bought a Renault Duster from Trevor at WP Motors. We were in Kuilsrivier on holiday. 1. My husband specifically asked for a toward to be fitted and a number of times expressed that it must not be a "goose neck" towbar as we are towing a caravan and we have the Tando stabiliser.Trevor assured US that it won't be a goose neck. ?... ? # They fitted a goose neck ... Trevor not once contacted US about this. 2, On the day of delivery the car was not ready... we waited 6 hours wereafter they borrowed US a car because we were on our way to Hartenbos # we received the car only 2 days later. 3. When we went for a drive after having the car for only 5/7days we heard a funny noise. We were camping at Jeffrey's bay at the time. Not wanting to take any chances and being far from WP Motors we drove to PE and took the car to a Renault workshop. On our way to PE the drivers window could not close. We drove all the way with an open window and it was cold that day #Renault had a look and found that it was something with the exhaust and they fixed the noise... the drivers window is still not working. # we are still waiting for WP Motors to fix the window as the car was still under warranty 4. 2 weeks later - now we are in Alexandria - we wanted to go to Grahamstown for the day. On our way a light came on showing that there was a fault somewhere, my husband immediately turned back and also phoned WP Motors. # The car has been standing for a week and to today we can not get a positive answer, feedback, response, or any reply from any person at WP Motors. Even the owner do not return our calls. We are at a point where we told them to cancellation our purchase and give US back the car we traded in. We do not know what to do next.
