Good evening My name is Ramosedi Mashala, I took my Toyota CHR 2017 model to Toyota maponya dealership in Soweto on Monday the 17th November 2025 at 07h30 am, it was showing an alert on the instrument cluster of engine coolant temperature being high and it was jerking, I was assisted by the lady by the name of Brenda. the whole day there was no communication from the dealership whether they could diagnose the car or not, at 14h00 pm I called them to check the progress with the car but Brenda told me they have not done anything to the car because they Want to know if I will pay diagnostic fee, I was furious as they asked me the same question in the morning and I gave them go ahead, I agreed to pay the diagnostic fee and immediately Brenda sent me the invoice for diagnostic fee of R2100. She gave mechanic phone to speak to me and he confirmed that he didn't do any diagnosis on the car yet, so my question to them was why did they sent me invoice if they didn't do any diagnosis? There no clear answer. Fast forward my car spend 4 days at the dealership and they still could not diagnose it, on Thursday afternoon I requested to take my car as it was obvious they are unable to diagnose it, after taking my car I drove for about 8km and the car Was stuck and I was unable to continue driving, I called my partner to come and tow my car, I also informed the guy who gave me the car at the dealership by the name of innocent, my question to him was how come my car is now having difficulty moving but when I brought to the dealership it was moving. Kindly intervene as the service I received from the dealership was very poor, no communication, my car Was in the worst condition than when I took it to the dealership and the guy just blueticked my message and no explanation given.
