Terrible Experience

Snowy Owl Homes looks wonderful from the outside, but our family’s experience with my grandmother in their frail care unit was deeply disappointing. The “person-centred care” they promote felt more like a slogan than a lived reality. From what I witnessed, and from what my mother and her siblings went through, the care often lacked warmth and genuine compassion. As a health professional myself, it was heartbreaking to see my grandmother treated more as a task to complete than as a person deserving dignity and kindness. I truly hope the facility reflects on how to make their care as personal and humane as they claim it to be.
