n August 2025 I appointed Jacques / Simply Maintenance for two projects at my property. The agreed contract amount was paid in full. It is now over six months later, and the projects remain incomplete. During this period, multiple completion dates were provided. On at least one occasion I was assured the outstanding work would be completed within one week. That commitment was not honoured. There have been repeated instances where I had to follow up to determine why no work was taking place and when the team would return. Progress has been inconsistent and deadlines have not been met. As a consumer, paying in full in good faith and then having to continually chase completion for months is unacceptable. I have retained full written communication, proof of payment, and photographic records documenting the timeline and status of the work. At the time of posting this review, the matter remains unresolved. I would strongly advise other consumers to: • Avoid full upfront payment • Insist on written timelines • Tie payments to clearly defined completion milestones Avoid this business. I remain willing to resolve this matter, but after six months of delays, I believe other consumers are entitled to be aware of my experience.

Builders Online Is Ignoring Me – Order Not Processed, No Replies, No Accountability (#2024317654) I am completely fed up with the shocking service from Builders Online. My order #2024317654 (placed on 27 November 2025) for a 1kW MobiVolt inverter and BLU52 chlorine has turned into a nightmare of empty promises, zero communication, and no accountability. After selecting the wrong payment option online, I contacted Builders immediately. I was told to load the money onto my profile and they would place the order for me. I paid, sent proof, and then… nothing. No updates, no confirmation, no action. For days, I have: Sent email after email with zero replies Been told by multiple customer care agents that the chlorine is “ready for collection” at Armitage, yet the branch confirmed NO order exists Repeatedly requested written confirmation—not once has anyone bothered to send an email Been promised call-backs that never happened Contacted the inverter supplier myself, only to be told that Builders never submitted my order Received contradictory and incorrect information from every agent I spoke to I have wasted my time, fuel, and effort driving to a branch for stock that is not there. I still have no idea where my order stands, where my money is, or what Builders has actually done—if anything. This is completely unacceptable from a national retailer. I want immediate answers: Is my order actually processed? Where is the chlorine? Has the inverter order been sent to the supplier or not? If Builders cannot resolve this, then refund me in full immediately. Builders, your customer service is beyond disappointing—it’s non-existent. I expect an urgent resolution.
