Terrible service I would never recommend anyone at this dealer
Good Day, I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding the poor service I have received from Hyundai Fourways, which has been ongoing since the purchase of my vehicle. I recently took my vehicle to Hyundai Fourways for a battery check. During this visit, it was confirmed that the battery fitted to my vehicle at the time of purchase is not the correct battery for the car. Despite this being identified under warranty, the dealership refused to replace the battery and instead advised that they would “investigate where the car came from before it got to them.” As a customer, this response is unacceptable. I am currently expected to continue driving a vehicle with a damaged and incorrect battery while the dealership conducts its internal investigation. This places me at risk and is unfair, particularly given that this issue falls under warranty. The correct course of action should have been to replace the battery immediately and conduct any investigations internally thereafter. Unfortunately, this is not the first negative experience I have had with Hyundai Fourways. At the time of purchasing my vehicle, I was promised a cashback of R15,000. However, I only received R5,000. I raised this matter with the dealership, but once the sale was concluded, my concerns were dismissed and no effort was made to resolve the discrepancy. Due to these repeated issues, I have lost confidence in Hyundai Fourways. The service I have received has been disappointing, unprofessional, and unfair. I would also like to note that a similar poor experience has been encountered by my sister at the same dealership, which suggests a broader pattern of service failure . I am requesting that this matter be taken seriously and that urgent action be taken to: Replace the incorrect battery under warranty without further delay. Investigate the cashback discrepancy and provide a clear resolution. Address the overall service standards at Hyundai Fourways. I am extremely disappointed and would appreciate a prompt response outlining how these matters will be resolved.
