On the 6th of February 2025 I visited Vodacom 4U shop in Kolonnade Mall to inquire about a cell contract. On the 7th I went back to the store to collect my smartphone and was assisted by Jeff. On Sunday I left to Drakensburg for our convention which lasted for 4 days thats where I experienced problem with my phone freezing and not performing as I was told by the consultant. I returned it to the store on 13 Friday 2025 for OBF and Jeff gave it to Oppo Specialist for software upgrade instead of booking it in for OBF procedure. She came with it and they assured me that it will perform well without giving me problems and I left as I believed them. On Saturday 14th I went back to them and again he reffered me to Menlyn Vodacom for assistance whereas he knew that I won't get help there. I've spent money for diesel, tolgate and parking at Menlyn for nothing and I've lost money that day as I'm self employed. I went back to the shop as directed by repair Ass Manager at Menlyn and jeff took the smartphone from me and book it as OBF. The smartphone was dispatched to Hatfield repair centre for OBF procedure and was returned to the store on 21st Feb 2025 and jeff buzzed me twice and stopped. On Saturday 22nd of Feb 2025 I went to the store to enquire about the status and met Jeff on his way to the loo and said to me I should wait for him. I reached the store and waited for him. The technician of the store went to the back and brought the phone since Jeff wasn't keen to come back, He said the phone was back and they upgraded the software and the reason for upgrade was I downloaded a third party app which freezed the phone. I asked which app was it and he said they never specify, I said to him thats nonsense because I used Oppo A40 and it never freezed why Reno 12 Pro top of the range fails me while their entry level never gave me problems. I refused to take since the lady who is Oppo's specialist did the same upgrade and I expierenced the same problem. The technician said repair centre and store software upgrade isn't the same as the store one is inferior than the one in repair centre. That sparked a red flag and I refusedto take it and he said to me they will return the phone back to the repair centre. Now the month is over while I didnt get my new phone and that traumatised me as the relationship was starting and within 7 days I experience problems with a new phone and the store refused to help, Think about it in 3 Months time what will happen if a person who is suppose to help you keep sying it's a procedure my hand are tide '' RED FLAG'' so I'm not willing to continue with consultants who are inexpiernce and don't know how to solve a problem. Please hellopeter help me before my name gets tarnished, I don't want to go through an odeal that I've experienced before. Your assistance in this regards will be highly appreciated. I went to Old Mutual branch in Kolonnade for cancellation of two policies that I didn't need anymore, I was assisted well by all staff from receptionist to consultant and I was happy with their hospitality, I was told to come back after five days for withdrawal. Confirmed amount for agreement 69176PO76398734 is R10287.76 and another agreement 69176P113777841 is R4689.75. I received two SMS, first one on 13/07/2022 (Wednesday) states my money was over 15k and I will not receive my refund and second one on 14/07/2022 (Thursday) states busy processing my refund. I need to understand which SMS to believe and which not to believe, And I need to understand why they said my money was over 15K? I am very disappointed about the service that I received from Pretoria Central branch as I was misled with information while Kolonnade branch gave me the correct info and good service. I went to Pta central branch on March 2022 to start the process and it was done wrongly hence I went to Kolonnade were they started the process all over again and requested all required docs. All I need is my money into my bank account as discussed with consultants after exhausting all process that I was told about. Your response in this regards will be highly appreciated.
