Have not received a claim statement since November last year (2025) Cannot even download it on the website and claims that should be fully paid, is only half paid and no one is able to advise on the reason. Have phoned for the statements and sent multiple emails, but either only getting through to self help option or getting read receipts and no response. If someone can please advise Thank you
Totally unacceptable experience and management. My Gran is on the medical aid and where they normally increase their monthly contributions at the beginning of the year. This was done beginning 2025 as well as Oct 2025 without warning due to their financial issues. My Gran is a pensioner and my parents and I help her cover the contributions as she has chronic conditions and cannot be without medical aid. I emailed the medical aid in October asking for a form to change to a lower option as one does not just have the money laying around to increase contributions by R1600 a month. No actual feedback was received even after following up. You only get those receipts stating they will get back to you in 5 working days but nothing happens Since beginning 2026 have been emailing them as never got the form to change the plan or any feedback. My Dad unexpectedly passed away on the 4th of January and we cannot cover this amount anymore so have been asking them to terminate membership so we can make another plan but yet again no feedback has been received. have sent an email and letter again today and then again getting the waiting time response of 5 working days just to have complete silence.
