⚠️PQ CLOTHING⚠️ ⚠️ Warning to shoppers at PQ Clothing This is not the first time I’ve experienced this, but it will definitely be the last. Items are marked at one price on the shelf, yet when you get to the till, you are charged more. Previously I ignored it and paid the higher price. This time I decided to question it. The store manager/supervisor was extremely sarcastic and unprofessional. She even said that “each staff member will pay R2” so I could get the item at the marked price. I calmly explained that according to the Consumer Protection Act, customers are entitled to pay the displayed price. She said she would correct it, but continued with a sarcastic attitude and even sarcastically greeted me as I left. When I got home and checked my slip properly — I had STILL been charged incorrectly. This is misleading, unacceptable, and completely disrespectful to customers who simply expect to pay the advertised price. Please double-check your slips if you shop here.
