THE Worst Service Experience of My Life

I have dealt with many companies in my life, but Trifocus Fitness Academy is easily the most unprofessional, unaccountable, and difficult institution I have ever encountered. If you value your career and your money, stay as far away as possible. The "Service" Reality: I started in 2024 and was met with 18 months of total silence. No facilitator reached out, and no progressive marking happened despite their original promises. When I finally called them to demand answers, they literally admitted I had "slipped through the cracks." If I hadn't initiated that call, they would have happily kept my fees while leaving me in limbo forever. And tthen they had the audacity to say it was my fault because they hadnt receved communication up until that point even though it was promised by there people that they would mark my work as i progress and reach out regarding any info or feedback. None of those happened until I physically called them to ask what was going on. and being a first time student of this instotution i had no idea hat my experience was suppposed to be different from what it was untill i was informed by a friend of how the experience should be. Their defense for failing to communicate a platform migration was that they "placed an adverti*****t" on the portal. An ad? That is not a communication strategy for a paying student; it is an admission of administrative laziness. 5-Month Marking Delays: After I personally forced them to set up my new account, I was made to wait FIVE MONTHS for my assessment to be marked. Management admitted this delay was entirely their fault, yet they still refuse a refund. Outdated & Obsolete Content: To make matters worse, the course quality is shocking. Some of the content is significantly out of date and fails to reflect current research in the fitness industry. You are paying for "education" that is scientifically lagging, delivered by a company that can’t even manage a basic student database. No talk about the latest discoveries and important info on things that trainers today should know( This was during my time ) Holding Progress Hostage: To cover for their own 5-month delay, they are flagging original work with "AI similarity" tools, the same tools that the University of Cape Town (UCT) and other major institutions have s****ped for being unreliable and prone to false positives. And after claiming they have not accused me of using Ai they have forced me to redo the work. The Bottom Line Trifocus expects the student to do the administration’s job. They admit to "ghosting" you, admit to massive delays, and then hide behind internal fine print to keep your money while delivering an outdated and less the satesfactoy product and service. They are quick to take your fees but disappear the moment they actually have to provide the education they sold you. This has been an absolute nightmare. In my opinion and experience Save yourself the exhaustion and money and go to an institution that actually understands the words "accountability" and quality service delivery. No wonder they have such a horrible rating on this platform.
