We have a sealy Ronan mattress that starte leaking/oozing a fine viscous oily substance about 3 moths ago. Its colourless and (mostly) odourless and does not stain the mattress. It does however keep seeping into/onto the bedsheets in the corners. Mostly the bottom part first that then increases over the entire corner over a few day period. It was reported and an inspector came to assess it. He reported back to the head-office that 'he did not find any signs of it' after I showed him this myself and providing photos. The fact that it does not create a stain (as it is colourless), they say, shows there is nothing wrong. Some slight researching on the subject show results that it could be from material breakdown of the foam used or some of the fire retardant materials used within the mattress - this being a health hazard too by the way.... They deny this and deny any claims.
End of January this year I notified Afrihost of canceling a line and opening another later (March this year). All good and well except I am still being charged for both lines. I call and they say oh OOPS SORRY YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN CHARGED and after a whole rigmarole I get a credit for the next month. Next month comes along and I get charged a random amount, this month it was for a pro-rata speed upgrade... Whenever I see another (double) charge I phone and they CONFIRM THAT THIS SHOULD NOT BE HAPPENING, THEY 'CAN SEE THE LINE IS CANCELED' yet they say they 'don't understand it so cant fix it' and say I will be contacted by a manager. OF COURSE THE MANAGER NEVER CALLS. and I am charged again the following month. How is this possible?

So a couple years ago my ID was falsified and a Cell C account was opened (with the false ID) in my name. Cell C staff did NOT follow due process on background checks and opened it... I'm not a legal know-it-all but think this is ILLEGAL. I did not have a Cell C account and they used my girlfriend at the time's bank account because she had a contract with them and her account was linked to my old (3years past) account. The culprit was later caught, arrested, tried and jailed with all the relevant SAPS and court files provided to Cell C. Cell C refused to close the account. More calls and letter and emails back and forth... Cell C accused me of 'planning a fraudulent trick/scam' and as if they 'caught me out' said that the account will not be closed... NEVER MIND THE SAPS CASE DOCUMENTS PROVIDED. The payment was stopped at the bank and now it simply shows as non payments on my credit record... Well I guess we'll see how the court proceedings play out when I need, say a home-loan, but get rejected based on a bad credit score. Well done Cell C, congratulations on a sweet deal.
A marketing company that illegally acquired my email address and spam me with marketing emails. I've been trying to unsubscribe from their list for about 2 years. I've even spoken to the boss herself. Actually got a ****** marketing New-Years whatsapp message from her due to my number being on her phone after I called her personally to get my details off their list.. They have no legitimate unsubscribe service and they keep lying about me not being on the list. www.career-expo.co.za
It happens every time... When I am abroad and want to update or cancel my policy I am not available via the usual telephone number... So I send them an email or a message on the website clearly stating this... I mean I write it in bold capital letters no less than 4 times. Saying my Sa number is not working abroad and i then supply them with email addresses as well as current phone numbers. Guess what response I get... Thats right, you only needed the one guess. "Good day Valued Client, please note that Miway Retentions Department is trying to get hold of you regarding your policy with us." Now tell me one thing MIWAY, do you read your so called 'Valued Client's' emails or do you just not give a damn what they ask for and blindly follow the usual procedure?
I placed an order with Just steel. After phoning, shortly after and being told the delivery will take a looong time, I canceled my order. They informed me of the fees they charged and the that the refund will take equally long. Here is what happened (in a nutshell) ~ I proceded to post on hello peter. ~ They immediately knew I posted and told me via email that "if I remove the helloPeter post, they will do the refund". ~ I removed it. ~ They did nothing. ~ I proceded to find the owner's (Mr Peter Lingwood) email address. (They refused to give it to me and when I found it and asked the call centre lady, she lied about it being his email address) ~ I emailed him and he threatened me multiple times with legal action. ~ He also did not hold back on personal insults. ~ I proceded to report them to the CGSO. ~ They then sent me an email saying "If I retract my complaint, they will do the refund". ~ I replied with "no, as I would have no recourse if they (again) just not pay me back". * Now this is interesting, does this not sound like someone trying to keep a clean name by trying to manipulate their already conned 'clients'? ~ A few more threats of legal action against me. (none with any real weight and they never did, even asking them to please do so) ~ Now they are ignoring all my emails and calls. ~ No refund, nothing. I will proceed to make a case of fraud and extortion against the owner himself as well as one against the company, at SAPS, by the end of next week. *NOTE: They do have a very thorough terms and conditions/Return conditions policy, most of it is in contradiction with the consumer protection act as well as the freedom of speech act. It is also set up very cleverly to keep everyone from posting anything on any media platform (hmmm, yes that does sound fishy). They stubbornly stick to it claiming they are in their legal rights, but it comes down to extortion. Don't be threatened by it/them. They make empty threats on a constant basis.
It is advisable to NEVER buy a product from Just Steel. They do not deliver, they have hidden costs and obscure, some might say 'illegal' cancelation policies. They also have a very rude receptionist, clearly she is fed up with everyone complaining about the company and demanding their money back... She is however, the only contact person. There is no other way of talking to anyone else, no complaints person/department and all they(she) say is "email it to us and we will get back to you". Sounds like a scam? guess it very well might be.

The lady was obviously not trained well and therefore the customer (myself) have damages. It is clear SAA thinks that these cases are not even worth replying to via email...</p> <p> </p> <p>Well done SAA, leading the way in **** service, regressing to worse than most other african run air transport companies.</p> <p> </p>
Its funny to me how, when you are an existing client and you send those 'Call me Back' messages on the website and/or ask to be phoned back on the voice prompts when phoning Miway, they either not call you at all or call you two days later. <br> BUT fill in the same thing and select the option to be quoted on car insurance... behold the phone rings not even two minutes later.<br> <br> I also find it pretty stupid how when they do call, and you are not able to talk, after asking them to call you back in an hour no one does. You just receive an sms saying that you should call them back.<br> <br> Thank you for being so great with your current clients and not paying more attention on getting new clients. Because that right there is good client relations Miway. Well done!<br> (that is sarcasm if you did not get it... just like you seem to not get client relations)
