Run as fast as you can!
Marlene Visser - Assist with home affairs - Que for me Marlene Visser DO NOT USE HER SERVICE! She claims to be an agent who can fast track applications at Home Affairs. She is nothing but a ****! Her stories change daily, from it’s at authorisation, it’s being printed, it’s in a box. She never updates you, and when you ask for an update she is incredibly rude. I paid her in April and am still waiting, even paid her extra. Stay away from her! She is a lying snake!

Order from anywhere but here!
If you are looking for a cake for a very special important event then please don’t use Oh My Cake! If you are looking for stress, tears and ‘I’m sorry, I don’t know’ then definitely use them! I ordered online a week before my fiancé’s 30th birthday, I made no alterations to the cake, looked online, saw the cake and thought well this is perfect! I should have known better… The big day finally arrived, the balloons arrived on time, he loved his presents but where is the cake? I phoned at 12:30 ‘you are part of the second delivery, your cake will be there between 2-4pm’ okay maybe they are busy, seems a little weird but I’m sure it will be fine. Well it wasn’t. At 15:56 I called, no answer. I knew at that point I was going to be disappointed. Called again, oh they picked up, ok it’s going to be fine, of course they are going to sort this out. No they didn’t. ‘Our driver says he will be there at 6pm’ obviously that didn’t help, I had been told the cake would be there between 2 and 4 and now they tell me at 6! This is after they charged a very high delivery fee, the lady I spoke to was so unhelpful, she obviously didn’t care. ‘Is the cake for today?’ She asked, no obviously I just randomly ordered a cake with no intention of celebrating my fiancés birthday on the actual day. She informs me that no I can’t collect the cake as the driver had it. And the driver is on his way to Edenvale. ‘Yoh I don’t know what to say’ followed by complete silence. She asked if they could deliver the next morning, well what other option do I have?! My inner Karen came out and I asked to speak to the manager, no he had already left for the day. Before 4pm - may apply for this job in my next life. Seems pretty good. I have been promised that the cake will be here this morning, which to be honest is irrelevant now. Update: cake was delivered at 08:06, does it look great? Yes! Does it leave me with wanting to order from Oh My Cake again? Definitely NOT This order was over R1000.00 which isn’t including the delivery fee. The moral of this story is, if you order and pay for something it should be delivered on the day not the morning after. The staff who answered the phone, were not helpful at all. Don’t lie to customers and disappoint them. It’s not cool. I won’t be placing another order with this company, I will give my honest opinion when asked though.
