I bought a vehicle from EGM in Sept 2024 with a very good experience and friendly staff. I stae 350km from Bloemfontein and only asses the vehicle on video clips and photos shared by thr sales person. When i collect the vehicle the one cover on the seat was broken. The sales person agreed to replace it. Now in Jul 25 almost a year later with numerous request abn me submit n quation on the item the issue is still not resovled. This result in a good experience to be one of the worst. I even callad the MD but no solution. My advice paas them if you in the market for a vehicle
Late delivery after empty promises, wrong item delivered. When I asked that it must be replaced they suddenly do not have stock and I need to log a return call for their mistake. I do not want a return I need the correct item that I ordered based on availability on the website with order placement. One customers service number (087 362 7666) go straight to voice mail. When asked to talk to a manager on this number (087 362 800) they cannot transfer you and say someone will call you then noting happened. Sent mails to 2 of the directors with no response. Use to receive excellent service from Takealot in the pass, what is going on recently??
I sent an enquiry to eyewear SA and called them on the 6th of February 2015 for an Adidas Sunglass. Yakoob said they will receive stock by latest 12 Feb 2015 but will let me know. On the 11th I ask what the status of the stock delivery is. The reply was that it will be delivered on the 12th of Feb. On Friday 13th of Feb I called about 50 times and only reach a voice mail. I drove from Sasolburg to Johannesburg to go and collect the glasses. Only after 13:30 when I called someone answered the phone. The person said he will call me back to confirm that they have the stock. With the return call he said they have it but it is in Nigel. So I drove from Johannesburg to Nigel to collect it. In Nigel they had the sunglasses but not the insert for prescription lenses which is the main purpose for me buying this glasses. I payed for it and they said they will get the insert by Tuesday and I will receive it Wednesday morning. Till now I have not received any thing I called Yakoob on Tuesday to ask for the status of the delivery, he was very unfriendly to me told me I am wasting his time. is this acceptable customer service?
