I have called Alexander Forbes on their number 011 2690000 about 10 times. They give you 6 option's on the menu. I have tried all 6 of them and get cut off immediately after entering the option. It sucks..
They delivered the new decoder which is worse than the one I had. The installer was unable to get it working together with the other decoder. Extremely disappointed 😞
My decoder is faulty and on 20th September I went to the Benoni branch who confirmed that it was indeed faulty. They had no stock and it's now the 30th and still no stock. What kind of service is this? I have insurance so they have to replace it even if it's the latest model which I am prepared to pay the difference. So I also lose a 3rd of the months payment for viewing. It's a shocking state of affairs and I am really unhappy 🙁
I went to the Cellc shop at East Rand Mall to get a sim card. They had no stock and didn't know when they would get any. I then went to Jet and got a CellC sim. Went back to the CellC shop so that they could do the Sim Swop. They refused saying that they can only do it if they sold the sim card. It is a CellC sim, why can't they assist? It's their product!! Extremely unimpressed.
FNB changed their App from a user friendly, colorful and bug free to a new Non User Friendly disaster. The new app is bland, cumbersome to use and has more bugs than a crate of Doom could sort out. They should revert to the original one.
I rented a car in East London and when I tried to open the boot with the key it would not open. So I used the remote to open the car and pulled the lever to open the boot which worked. Now on returning the vehicle they are blaming me for damaging the lock. They did not bother to do a check before giving me the car. First Car Rental is not an honest company as they do not check vehicles before handing them to the customer.
I purchased software from Tenorshare which did not do the job. They advertise that they will refund the money if one is not satisfied. But now I cannot get the refund even after numerous requests. Tenorshare appear to be a dishonest company and I for one will never use their products again.
Trying to use the South African telephone number given by Travelwings is the worst service I have ever come across. It is distorted and when one does get through to a person they cut you off. They are happy to take pnes online booking but after that forget about contacting them by telephone. I will never ever use their services again.
I received my Huawei router from Telkom, plugged it in and it worked immediately. Even my TP-Link connected to it and I have a solid signal strength of 4 and sometimes 5 bars which is the highest. Compared to my previous Rain system it is like chalk and cheese. On Rain it could take up to 90 seconds to send a 1.4Mb photo now using Telkom LTE a much larger file is sent in seconds. Never had it so good. Thank you Telkom you have an excellent offering at the same price as I paid Rain.
