When I login to the GEMS website or phone application and click on the "Benefits" tab I noted that some of benefits disappeared, same benefits still reflect in respect of my spouse. Since 24 March 2023 between myself and my spouse we sent 9+ emails to enquiries@gems.gov.za as well as direct messages to GEMS on Facebook and until today 29 June 2023, 3 months later we still haven't received any feedback regarding our query. This is quite worrying as you are paying for something monthly but the possibility is big that you will not benefit from same if same is needed. This is due to incompetency of the GEMS staff which is supposed to attend to the queries mailbox.
