I moved to Naked Insurance to protect my brand-new Corolla Cross. Initially, I was hesitant because all my interactions with the company were purely digital through their mobile application. However, after being with Naked Insurance for about three years now, I can confidently say that my experience has been excellent. Last month, while visiting Durban from Gauteng, my car was ****** and then recovered four hours later. Naturally, I was worried and unsure of what to expect from Naked Insurance. To my pleasant surprise, they handled the entire process professionally and efficiently. Since the incident happened on a Saturday, I had to wait until Monday for the claim process to begin. True to form, they called me early Monday morning and immediately assigned an agent in Durban to assist with retrieving my car from the police station and completing all the necessary paperwork for a recovered ****** vehicle. They even covered the emergency repairs, including replacing the smashed glass and number plates. When I returned to Gauteng, Naked Insurance quickly assigned a validator to confirm the details and check the validity of the claim. Although I had to provide multiple digital documents, the process was smooth and fast. They approved the claim in record time and requested pictures of the car and damages. I had the car assessed at Toyota since it’s still under warranty, and Naked Insurance accepted the report without issue. They even gave me the choice between a payout or using their panel beaters for repairs. From the start of the incident to final settlement, the entire process took about one month. Throughout, I felt heard and supported. I want to extend a special thanks to Miss Nombulelo Macozoma, the insurance agent assigned to my case, who was responsive and did everything possible to expedite the process. Many clients consider changing insurers after such stressful events, as it’s a true test of their insurance company’s quality. I’ve decided to stick with Naked Insurance because of the outstanding service I received. I highly recommend them to others. It’s only when you experience an insured event that you truly appreciate the value of your insurance provider—and Naked Insurance exceeded my expectations.
I purchase a coin from IBV (Sandton) on 12 May 2025. My sales person was Priyaandra. To date there has been no indication when I may collect my coin. Only confirmation that my money was received. No invoice. No Collection date. Despite trying to contact both he and his manager, no further communication from there side. I await their response.
It is sad that being a company that fights for to protect your legal rights in court, they fail to hold themselves accountable. I have been a policy holder for over 10 years. In that time I have not claimed. My policy Number is: 168820. I put in a claim and after checking with their underwriters the company promised to pay out a portion of the claim based on their legal rates (a promise given to me in writing). However to date no payment was made on the claim. The last feedback I received was 4 weeks ago, from Legal Advisor: Ms. Tsitsi Munyuki. She informed me that she needed time to complete the calculations on what was owed to me, and that they would get in contact with me once it was done. To date 4 weeks have gone with no further correspondence to my communications. I have called their Call Centre, sent them numerous emails, and even got hold of the WhatsApp line. The customer service is extremely disappointing, especially towards their long time loyal customers. I do not recommend signing up for legal cover protection from this company. We pay for legal aid insurance, hoping that one day they will come through for us when we are in need, only to be unprofessionally treated when it comes to claim time. Horrible experience!
I ordered a set of cameras from this online company https://airekom-shop.com/ They initially indicated they where having problems with delivery, and that delivery date would shift by 1 month. Its been over 3 months and they still have not delivered. In that time, their website has changed. Please be weary of this company.
