I paid a R2000 deposit to Hugh Broodryk to replace the motor on my treadmill, which he stated will be done within 4 - 5 workdays after payment. When I didn't hear from him after that, I had to phone him numerous times to find out when the motor will be replaced, to which he always had some kind of excuse. After more than 2 weeks of this his employee finally showed up with the motor, but then found that there were additional things broken on my treadmill. After his diagnosis and my flailing trust in this company I decided it wouldn't be worth fixing it up. I proposed paying Hugh a call-out fee for his effort and asked him to return the rest of my deposit, but every time I phone him regarding it he has some kind of sob story. It has now been about 2 weeks since then and he still has not paid back my money.
