Jackie Hendricks was assigned to us from the bank as an assessor after we had a fire. To our surprise she was then assigned as the contractor to do the repairs. This was under her company Jaxcorp Building Projects CC. Since day one the relationship was terrible as Jackie has no people skills or sensitivity to our situation. In fact on numerous occasions she told asked us if we could not go somewhere else while they work (this during a pandemic). Jackie was never on site and there was no supervision for her workers. On one of these days a worker moved the TV which we had already moved out of their way. In the process of the move he ended breaking the TV. We notified Jackie of this immediately and she came hours later implying that the TV was already broken and we were lying. Once the job was completed we were advised that the TV will be replaced - Jackie even asked for quotes for replacement TV's which we sent. . Jackie then informed us she was in hospital and will communicate with us when she is discharged. She asked for time till Wednesday 17th February 2021. On 17th we did not hear from her and today she sent an email saying they cannot take liability for the TV. Imagine our shock and disappointment upon receiving this email. We then tried calling her to discuss this amicably and she is ignoring our calls. We would obviously like discuss this with her amicably and professionally.
