Serious Food Safety Concern at Ocean Basket, Tygervalley Mall
I had a very concerning experience at Ocean Basket, Tygervalley Mall, on 28/08. Firstly, I want to note that the service I received was good, and I have no complaints in that regard. However, the food itself caused me severe health issues. I ordered the 'Reel Love Platter' and only ate the shellfish portion of the dish. Later that evening, I experienced severe food poisoning. I did not consume any other meat that day, so I am certain the food poisoning came from the shellfish I was served. The symptoms were extremely serious and included nausea, stomach pains, vomiting, dizziness, and even blurred vision. This is completely unacceptable. Food safety and quality control should be a top priority, and it is alarming that a meal could cause such a severe reaction. I am compelled to warn others about this experience, and I would strongly advise people to avoid eating at Ocean Basket Tygervalley until this matter is properly addressed. I expect this incident to be taken seriously and investigated urgently, to prevent anyone else from going through what I experienced.

What a Mess – Easily the Worst Bossa Experience Ever
I’ve always had great experiences at other Bossa branches, so we came here with high expectations. Sadly, this was hands-down the worst restaurant experience I’ve had in a long time. We waited an absurd amount of time for our food, with no updates, no apology, nothing. And when it finally arrived, it was cold. Not just slightly off, but stone cold. The deep-fried items were especially bad: cold, rubbery, and tasted like they'd been sitting out for hours. The service was a complete disaster. The staff couldn’t have cared less. No one checked in with us. We had to get up and call the manager just to find out where our food was. If we hadn’t, we’d probably still be sitting there waiting. The setting may be beautiful, but even that couldn’t salvage the experience. Zero sense of urgency. Zero accountability. Zero customer care. For the prices they charge, this kind of service and food quality is an absolute joke. We left hungry, frustrated, and completely unimpressed. I won’t be back and honestly, I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone, not even as a last resort.
