Terrible customer service & ********* business practice. I bought a kettle with a 1 year guarantee (can convert to 2 years if you register with Mellerware). Within less than 6 months it stopped working. I returned the kettle in good condition with the slip. They refused to refund me or give me in store credit to buy a new one - said the element had burned out because I did not clean the kettle properly, to remove the calcium. When I asked how often that should be done, they said it should be done every 6 months. But the kettle was not even 6 months old! Shocking that they refuse to uphold their promise of a warranty…
I have been running in circles to rectify the incorrect amount I am being billed. I have spoken to 8 consultants on the 10213 & 10210 numbers & visited a Telkom store with no solution. The store would not even allow me to enter because my query was billing related. I also chatted online with 3 consultants and still no joy. I have sent emails to ***********, *********** & *********** but I just get kicked around between the billing and the sales dept. This has been ongoing since Nov 2020. Someone at Telkom messed up the order and no one is willing to take responsibility for it.
